“Hello, I am Axel Jiménez, 26 years old, an artist living in Barcelona. Before coming to KRIA Centro, I was in a state of blockage, both mentally and artistically, with an inner collapse caused by living in such a stressful and overwhelming city that left no room for my own goals. Although I had seen psychologists and could ease some of my issues, something was missing. I wanted and needed to evolve to the next level, and that is how I learned about KRIA Centro through a relative. After reading about what the center offered and how it could help me, I knew it was the final step I needed. And so it was. After my stay at the center, I felt my body and mind in a way I had never experienced before, not only in balance but also in harmony between my darker and lighter sides. ”As an athlete with an eating disorder, a mother of two sons, and having gone through a failed marriage, traditional medicine and the psychology of our culture reached their limits and could not help me further. After working with Remo as a nutritionist and personal coach for a competition (Hyrox), I became curious about more and decided to embark on this great journey to myself. Not only did the ceremonies provide me with much clarity about my inner self, but also the presence in the jungle’s nature and the significant distance from home grounded me, inspired me for new things, and showed me what is important in my life.
